Classes by groups 1& 2❤️.

 Hello, welcome to this new entry!🥳🤩

So finally the time to teach has come🤩! We have been preparing all this year to know how to teach, and we are finally putting it into practice with real-life students🤯😯.

Sadly, this week I was not able to go to class😭, but my classmates told me a little bit about how everything went! Diana's and Eli's group were the first ones in line!



Since Diana's group was the first one they gave all of the students a name tag and did an introductory activity. I thought that this was such a great idea to get to know everyone👆🏼. I was really impressed when my classmates told me the number of people that came, honestly, I was expecting less but it makes me happy and excited to see everyone and also all their different ages😁.

I really loved to see their shirts on the pictures💗, I think these two groups are always super creative with the outfits they come up with when teaching. Even if I wasn't able to see their class, I'm pretty sure that both of the groups did an amazing job, so a round of applause for them!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The Grammar Translation Method ✍🏼.

 Hello! Welcome back to my blog! 🌼✨ It is nice to know that you are here after getting to know a little bit about me! But here, we officially start our English Didactics journey, exciting!🤩 The first things we are learning about are the different types of language teaching methods, and to make this a little interesting, I will be telling you a little bit about the method, how we put it in practice in my class and maybe show you some pictures or videos here and there 👀.  The first method we are talking about is (as you guessed by the title),  The Grammar Translation Method (TGTM). This method is one of the two fundamental methods out there and it's considered traditional teaching. The GTM was proposed by Professor Karl Plotz around the 19th century, and it focuses more on reading and writing skills ✍🏼 📖. Total Physical Response 🕺🏻.

 Hello! It's been a few days since the last entry🤔 Welcome back!!! 🤩 🤩 Today I'm here to tell you a little bit about what we learned in class, and honestly, it's one of the most fun methods so far, and it's called  Total Physical Response (TPR).  🏃🏻‍♀️ This method was created by James Asher, and it consists of teaching language through physical activity because the more often a memory connection is traced, the stronger the memory association and the more likely it will be remembered🧠.  For this method, we can use different tools such as different songs and the principal idea, and the use of imperatives (short commands) to indicate what the student needs to do 🗣️ 🎶 . This method is very dynamic, so it can turn the classroom really loud, but honestly, I think it's worth it haha😉.
