Activities in the Classroom🛝🎮.

This week we were back in the classroom to continue with our usual classes, the topic we talked about was... Activities in the Classroom!🛝🎮

At the beginning of our class, we did a recap about lesson planning; teacher Orlando talked about the importance of this and explained how he planned the last lesson that we received at home, and it was really interesting because we noticed how he had put designated times for each activity.

Now moving onto the new topic, we started talking about how every tiny detail matters🤌🏼, just like remembering the student's name, teacher Orlando gave us ideas about using name tags for this situation and how you could also use those name tags for different activities of participation with the students😏.

In this class we talked about the importance of having a dynamic class. Usually, students can get bored quickly if they are sitting still listening to a lesson for too long😅, that's why teachers need to look for different activities to make it a little bit more fun.

Teacher Orlando brought some props to the class to show us some examples🤩🤩 (the ones in the picture).

We did several activities using the props he got. We did activities and gave examples about measuring time🕐, how to make someone participate🙋🏻‍♂️, making groups👭🏻, etc. It was really nice to see how many creative ideas the teacher had, and it helped us to learn and think of new ones we could do with our future students.

There are many things you need to take into consideration while planning a class, and activities are a must if you want to be dynamic🎨. Giving small rewards can be really helpful to motivate students, creating class mascots can make them participate more, and doing activities to choose a random volunteer can help for different people to participate. In the end, is all about being creative and having fun while learning!❤️
