Recap🧏🏻‍♀️.

 Hello, welcome to my last entry...of the register haha😂🌝.

In today's class, we didn't learn about any new method, instead, we did some quick presentations and had our first short quiz for this class😬.

Last class, we were all divided into groups to make posters, every single group had a different method as a topic, me and my group got TPR. I was really excited to get this method because it has been my favorite overall🥳 so it was very fun and easy to work on our poster and mini-expo.

Everyone did amazing in their presentations🤩, and it was really helpful because after that we had our quiz about the methods we had learned so far. I personally think I did good on the quiz (at least I hope so) so now, we just have to wait and see🤞🏻!

This will be all for this entry, taking this class has been so fun for me. I've enjoyed it so much, the topics are interesting, the activities are fun and teacher Orlando is amazing💖.

The Grammar Translation Method ✍🏼.

 Hello! Welcome back to my blog! 🌼✨ It is nice to know that you are here after getting to know a little bit about me! But here, we officially start our English Didactics journey, exciting!🤩 The first things we are learning about are the different types of language teaching methods, and to make this a little interesting, I will be telling you a little bit about the method, how we put it in practice in my class and maybe show you some pictures or videos here and there 👀.  The first method we are talking about is (as you guessed by the title),  The Grammar Translation Method (TGTM). This method is one of the two fundamental methods out there and it's considered traditional teaching. The GTM was proposed by Professor Karl Plotz around the 19th century, and it focuses more on reading and writing skills ✍🏼 📖. Total Physical Response 🕺🏻.

 Hello! It's been a few days since the last entry🤔 Welcome back!!! 🤩 🤩 Today I'm here to tell you a little bit about what we learned in class, and honestly, it's one of the most fun methods so far, and it's called  Total Physical Response (TPR).  🏃🏻‍♀️ This method was created by James Asher, and it consists of teaching language through physical activity because the more often a memory connection is traced, the stronger the memory association and the more likely it will be remembered🧠.  For this method, we can use different tools such as different songs and the principal idea, and the use of imperatives (short commands) to indicate what the student needs to do 🗣️ 🎶 . This method is very dynamic, so it can turn the classroom really loud, but honestly, I think it's worth it haha😉.
